Opening

The regular meeting of the AMERICAN LEGION POST 1919 at 1905 hrs.  10 June 2025 by 1^st Vice Commander Gary Totty.

Previous meeting minutes distributed to attendees.

Motion to approve by Dave Everett, Second by Dirk Titus.

The minutes of the previous meeting unanimously approved as distributed.

Membership Committee

85.09% of 2025 (177 of 208) Goal, as of 10 June 2025.

Reminder emails will be going out next week to alert passed due membership.

Dues have increased to $55. The 10-year option is still available. It is a Department program and the cost is $400 for 2025. This is still your best option. If you are a 10-year member, you will still get a renewal note from National. You are paid up, just see membership chair with questions/concerns. National has a 3-year program at $55 each, $165 total. Membership year begins 01 July 2025. Renewal notices will be coming soon. Early Bird stamp will be available until 1 September 2025. Get your renewals in now.

Two members under the age of eighteen (18) have been elected to 2025 – 2026 Officer positions. New Officer installation will be 26 June 2025. Come and show your support.

• Meetings are the first Saturday of month at 1100 Hours.

Flag Committee

• Will reach out to area Goodwill stores to see if can get their donated flags.
• Help with cleaning and replacing area business flags.
• American Legion Flag and Emblem has a ‘Flag Rewards’ program in which we can received credit for each flag ordered with our post 1919 listed on the form.
